Briefly NotedTEAM WILDCAT TO WALK IN RELAY FOR LIFECSU, Chico’s Team Wildcat members will walk from 10 am Saturday, June 9, to 10 am Sunday, June 10, at the University Stadium in the Relay for Life to honor more than 75 campus members who have been touched by cancer. This is the fifth year the team has participated in the event to raise funds for American Cancer Society research. TOUR OF GALAPAGOS ISLANDS AND QUITO, ECUADOR, OFFEREDReligious Studies Professor Andrew Flescher will be faculty-in-residence for a tour of the Galapagos Islands and Quito, Ecuador, Jan. 4–14, 2008. OSHER LIFELONG LEARNING INSTITUTE RECEIVES GRANT The Bernard Osher Foundation awarded CSU, Chico’s Center for Regional and Continuing Education a $100,000 grant to fund the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a learning-in-retirement organization on campus, for the third year.
