UNIVERSITY CHORUS HAS NEW DIRECTOR

David Scholz, the new director of choral activities, hopes to spread the word about the choirs at Chico State for both students and community members. Many musically inclined students don’t realize there is a “a choir for them,” even if they aren’t music majors. Choral ensembles include the University Chorus, the A Cappella Choir, and the Chamber Singers. Scholz’s long-term plans include a reunion concert honoring Chico State’s “long tradition of presenting quality choral music.” Scholz can be reached at x6127.
