- New English professor Paul Eggers was quoted in a June 25 New
York Times article about teaching opportunities and the university
labor market.
- A comment in a film about AIDS in South Africa by Charles Geshekter,
professor of history, was referenced in the San Francisco Business
Times on August 31. The article was about AIDS dissident Christine
Maggiore's appearance in San Francisco.
- The Associated Press quoted Annette Edwards, director of Financial
Aid, on September 5 in an article about students and credit card debt.
The Associated Press story ran in numerous California newspapers.
- The Sacramento Bee quoted Dennis Graham, vice president of
Business and Finance, on September 12 in an article about the future
replacement of Sutter Hall.
- Professor of art Jean Gallagher's one-person show at the Artists
Contemporary Gallery in Sacramento was reviewed in a Sacramento Bee
article on September 17.
