Future Students Flock to Campus Event

When events are held on campus for prospective students, attendance is invariably high. This year's Fall Application Day was no exception. The Office of Enrollment Management estimated that more than 3,000 visitors came to CSU, Chico Saturday, November 11, with more than 800 of them applying to the university.

Acker Gymnasium was the home base for an information fair and open house. All departments and student support services were represented, and many buildings were open for touring. A shuttle took visitors around campus and over to University Village. Since November is the priority filing period for the following year's fall class, many questions related to entry into the fall 2001 class.
