"In the News" will periodically report on faculty and staff who are featured or quoted by the media, with particular attention to media outside the Chico area.

Political science professor Ed Bronson was quoted in an April 22 New York Times article about the trial of two men charged in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombing. He was also quoted in an April 24 Sacramento Bee story about the synagogue arson trial in Sacramento. Bronson is a frequent courtroom expert.
Psychology professor Edward Abramson was quoted in the February issue of Fitness Magazine and the April issue of Cosmopolitan about eating disorders.
Communication arts and sciences professor Sam Edelman was quoted in an April 2 Jerusalem Post article about the CSU's overseas studies program in Israel.
Chemistry chair Jim Postma's work on an invention exterminating agricultural pests was featured in the April 1 Enterprise Record Sunday Spotlight.
