Solving the Puzzle: Disability Awareness
Training Friday, Oct. 19
Faculty and Staff Assistance invites you to take part in this training that will provide the opportunity to network with colleagues from various public and private agencies. It will help us examine our attitudes toward applicants and/or employees with disabilities, understand state and federal laws, identify barriers at your worksite, and explore strategies to choose the best candidate for the job.
The training, which costs $5, is from 8 am–11:30 am at the Chico Masonic Hall, 1110 W. East Ave. Morning refreshments will be served. The training satisfies the ADA workshop requirement for the Supervisory Certification Program.
