Fall Application Day Welcomes 3,000 Visitors to Campus

More than 1,100 prospective students and their parents visited campus
for Fall Application Day (FAD) on Saturday, Nov. 10. President Manuel

Chico State talent.
More than 40 departments provided tours and offered open houses, financial aid gave four well-attended presentations, and, by the end of the day, 726 applications had been turned in. “It’s an important day for us,” said Wendy Needels, who coordinated the event. “Students are also looking at other campuses that hold open-campus days on that same weekend. What happens at FAD can definitely influence a student’s choice of colleges.”
The lines were long when it came time to turn in an application during Fall Application Day on Saturday, Nov. 10.
