150 See Yolo Ribbon CutMore than 150 people were on hand to help President Esteban and Stephen King, dean of the College of Communication and Education, show off the newly constructed Yolo Hall during the official ribbon-cutting ceremony Jan. 23. John F. Otto Construction project manager and CSU, Chico alum Steve Ithurburn spoke to the crowd about his experience returning to his alma mater. The 70,626-square-foot building includes 12 research labs, 14 classrooms, three seminar rooms, faculty and staff offices, computer labs, and a state-of-the-art SlimEx hydrotherapy pool. Faculty and staff will start moving into the building later this month. Story and photos by Loriann Maxwell
