Clark Davis Honored

Clark Davis, Sociology, was the recipient of a Rotary International Educator Recognition Award. A plaque commending his outstanding teaching was presented to him by the Chico chapter Feb. 4. Dean Jeanne Thomas of the College of Behavioral and Social Science recommended Davis for the honor.

Davis has taught at CSU, Chico for 33 years. He served as chair of the Department of Sociology and Social Work from 1992 to 1997. His research interest is demographic analysis, including ideal and desired family size, fertility, migration, and aging. Davis teaches courses in population and research methods.
