Janja Lalich, Sociology, was quoted in two news articles on Nov. 16 regarding the tragic events in Jonestown which occurred 25 years ago this month: "25 Years After the Horror of Jonestown" in the Oakland Tribune and "Tragic Truths: 25 Years After Jonestown Deaths" in the San Diego Union-Tribune. She was also interviewed on Nov. 17 for a United Press International article on teen behavior modification.
Turhon Murad, Anthropology, was featured in an article about forensic science training and careers in The Sacramento Bee on Nov. 6.
