Susan Green Elected CFA President Susan Green, assistant professor in history and Chicano studies, was elected president of the California State University, Chico chapter of the California Faculty Association. Green takes the place of Beau Grosscup, Political Science, who served as president for five years. Green was elected to serve a two-year term. I am honored to represent faculty and fight to protect and enhance their compensation, benefits, rights, and working conditions, said Green. I will continue many of the long-standing CFA Chico traditions established by my predecessors, such as the popular RTP and FERP workshops, but will also bring my particular union organizing experiences to the chapter. I am particularly concerned with issues of equity for female faculty and lecturers, and faculty and lecturers of color.} New CFA president Susan Green working at the No on 54 CFA rally held at CSU, Chico in October.
