Michael Bishop, Art and Art History, was featured
in a Sept. 9 Sacramento Bee article about his winning a contest
to create an art piece on a landmark water tower in Sacramento.
Ed Bronson, professor emeritus, Political Science,
was featured in an Aug. 26 Sacramento Bee article about a
possible new location for the trial of an alleged killer of a police
officer. Bronson is a national expert regarding change of venue.
David Waddell, Journalism faculty member and Orion
advisor, wrote an op-ed piece in the Aug. 22 Redding Record Searchlight
about the banning of Toni Morrison’s The Bluest Eye
in the Shasta Union High School District.
Bill Wattenburg, alumnus and research scientist through
the CSU, Chico Research Foundation, was featured in an Aug. 6
New York Times article about his anti-terrorism invention for
incapacitating trucks that have been hijacked. |
