Everybody Knows Their Name: Giants in the Art World is an exhibtion of original prints by well known artists including Picasso, Dali, Durer, Ernst, and Miro. Prelude to a Return: Images of Africa shares the experiences of Dakota and Jay Sheets and George Thanos on their first trip to this adventureland. Original art, photographs, and curios are enhanced by journal entries that detail a distant culture. February 20-March 20. Public reception Friday, February 20, 7-9 p.m., BMU, Third Floor Gallery.

From Leeches to Lasers: Chico Area Medicine This special exhibit examines the history of health care in Butte County. A series of monthly programs accompanies the exhibit.
