Nettleton Makes Donation

Chico Heat owner Steve Nettleton and Chico State baseball coach Lindsay Meggs meet Sept. 15 after Nettleton presented the university with proceeds from last May’s game between the Heat and the Wildcats. The $11,973 check goes toward support of the baseball team. For the benefit of those who were not at the game, a then-record crowd of 3912 at Nettleton Stadium saw Chico State beat the Heat 8-4.
