Nutcracker on December 6

The classic ballet The Nutcracker is being brought to Laxson December 4 through December 6 by Chico Performances and Friends of the Chico Community Ballet (CCB). Deborah Jorristma is directing and choreographing the production. Professional dancer Thomas Bell will be dancing in the lead role as the nutcracker. Bell was a principal artist with the Maryland Ballet and the Eugene Ballet and has appeared as a guest artist with the Sacramento Ballet. The role of Clara will be shared by CCB dancers Elise Chevrier and Emily Peart, both students at Pleasant Valley High School. See the Calendar for details.
