The Career Planning and Placement Center received a generous donation from Hewlett-Packard.

Daryl Fitzgerald, coordinator of the on-campus interview process, approached Hewlett-Packard for equipment to update the Career Exploration Center. The company donated a printer and computer which will allow students to use the Internet to search for jobs, to prepare resumés, to locate graduate schools, and to take career assessment tests.

Pamella Healy, coordinator of the Career Exploration center said, "We are thrilled to have a new computer and printer. The computer can handle updated software. It has made the process of finding and printing information so much easier for our students."

Colleen Striberg, Hewlett Packard's campus representative, was instrumental in the donation to the Career Center. The company is one of the biggest employers of CSU, Chico graduates every year.
