Professor emeritus Charles Adams was featured in an Aug. 2 San Jose Mercury News article about his 1971 book, Boontling: An American Lingo. The article discussed how boontling, a local jargon spoken in Boonville, Calif., was disappearing.
English lecturer Susan Aylworth was quoted in an Aug. 30 U.S. News and World Report article on domestic violence impacting romance novel authors. Aylworth is the author of seven romance novels.
Daran Finney, marketing coordinator for University Public Events, was quoted in a Sept. 1 Sacramento Bee article about Archbishop Desmond Tutu's planned visit to campus Oct. 8.
