Recreation, Hospitality, and Parks Management

Welcome prospective and continuing graduate students interested in the field of recreation, hospitality, and parks management.

Our graduate program at CSU, Chico is now a regional collaboration with two other California State University graduate programs in recreation, hospitality, and parks management; San Francisco State University (RPT) and Sacramento State University (RPTA). The core classes in this program are taught using a hybrid of synchronous online and in-person class sessions. In addition, each term begins and ends with an In-Person Seminar that rotates between the three partner campuses. The IPS that opens the term is generally three days in length. The IPS that closes the term is a single day in duration. For all other synchronous online sessions, you will need a computer with a high-speed internet connection, video camera, microphone, and speakers. The online sessions are synchronous so that students and faculty can interact in real time.
