POOL BBQ
Aug. 29- Come by the campus pool and grab a hamburger, go
for a swim, and get to know some of your floor mates. This event
will also serve as the first floor meeting for the Recreational
Sports Theme Floor.
MINIATURE GOLF
Sep. 14- Take the fabulous Chico State bus as a group
to Chico Funland and show off your putting skills. OK maybe you're
not Tiger Woods but you will still have fun as you and your floor
mates hit the links but be careful of the water hazzards. Video
games, air hockey and batting caged included.

DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT
Oct. 23- Yes, that's right we're playing that schoolyard
game from your childhood. Hey, if Hollywood can make a whole movie
about it, we can play it! Bring your tennis shoes and a playful
spirit and we'll take a break from the books to have some silly
fun. Don't worry.......no injuries in this game.......we're using
only foam dodgeball balls.
TEXAS HOLD 'EM
Nov. 13- Bring your sunglasses and your steely cold demeanor
as theme floor residents have fun facing off in their very own no
money poker tournament. Enjoy a night of bluffing, raising, and
calling all in the name of fun, silly prizes, and bragging rights.
CLIMBING WALL TIE & TRY
Dec. (Date TBA)- Theme floor residents will be treated to
a night of learning the ropes at the wall. With the Climbing Wall
reserved for theme floor residents only, everyone will have a friendly
environment to try the wall for the first time. Attendees will also
have the opporunity to climb in the dark with headlamps.
VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Mar. 6- Bring your "A" game because this is for
hall bragging rights. From 5-7pm the hall will break up into teams
as we "Set, Spike, and Dig" our way to some early evening
fun in Shurmer Gym.
BOWLING NIGHT
Mar. 28- The friendly competition continues as we go to
Orchard lanes for a little bowling action. We'll travel via the
campus bus leaving campus about 8:45. It doesn't matter if your
games is power, finess, or between the legs, everyone is assured
of having a good time.
BANFF FILM FESTIVAL
Apr. 14- Adventure Outings, in association with Recreational
Sports, is again bringing the Banff Film Festival to Chico State.
The name "Banff" is synonymous with the very best in outdoor
adventure films. Come and enjoy several outdoor and extreme sport
films.
