The Team

Formed in 2008, the Chico State Tennis club is one of the newest additions to the sport club lineup. Highly organized and motivated to make an impact in the highly regarded Northern California collegiate club section of the United States Tennis Association (USTA), the team is eager to recruit students not only with a competitive background in tennis, but members who are new to the sport and looking to learn more about the game.

In just its first year as a club, Chico State picked up a 9th place finish and the Silver Bracket Championship at the 2008 Northern California USTA Campus Championship qualifier in a field of 20 teams. With success already in its pocket, the club expects nothing but good in the future.
