The Team

The oldest sport club on campus, dating back to 1918, the immensely popular Chico State men's rugby team averages over 200 in attendance for every home game. Chico State men's rugby is no stranger to success, qualifying for the Pacific Coast Rugby Football Union territorial playoffs the last six seasons. The team competes in the Pacific Western Conference, one of the premier leagues in the nation, against teams from San Jose State, UC Santa Cruz, San Francisco State, and University of Nevada, Reno.

Join the Club

Step One:  For information on joining a specific club, go to the club webpage for contact information for the club president.  The president will direct you on what to do for that particular club.

Step Two:  For competitive clubs only, complete the sport club member application online through OrgSync

Step Three: Clubs determine and set dues for the year.  Members pay dues to the club treasurer for deposit to club account.  All dues payments must be via check or money order, no cash.

*You are not officially on the roster and not permitted to practice, play, or travel with the club until you appear on the online roster (in OrgSync).  Any questions and/or concerns about the status of an application must be directed to the club president and/or treasurer.
