Counselor In Training Program:
Chico State Recreational Sports is offering its Counselor-In-Training Program to local teenagers going into the 10th through 12 grades.  The CIT Program is being offered the week of June 4th, with opportunities to put that training to use throughout the summer.  

The CIT program trains young adults to work with youth in a recreational setting. Participants will be exposed to issues relevant to future camp work with children including, but not limited to, child development, leadership, supervision of children, CPR and First Aid certification, climbing wall certification, and swim test certification.  Participants will have the opportunity to plan and lead activities in the Adventure Day Camp program.  Upon successful completion of training, each participant will have the opportunity to volunteer with the Adventure Day Camp program and earn valuable community service experience.

Cost for the program is $50. Registration begins on May 9th.  On May 6th, when you register from 5-7pm in Acker 129, you will receive a $5 discount per program.
