Articulation

Articulation creates and maintains articulation agreements with educational institutions in California.

Primary Programs & Activities

  • Creates and maintains articulation agreements with 113 California Community Colleges for Chico State lower division major preparation courses
  • Creates and maintains articulations and equivalencies for the CSU Fully Online program
  • Enters and maintains articulation information on the ASSIST Website (http://www.assist.org)
  • Maintains resource library of California college and university catalogs and distributes catalogs to other key offices on campus
  • Coordinates articulation information for C-ID and Student Transfer Achievement Reform Act (SB 1440) requirements
  • Maintains lists of courses from California Community Colleges that may be used to fulfill U.S. Diversity/Global Cultures graduation requirements
  • Monitors California Community College CSU GE-Breadth and IGETC approved courses
  • Maintains Chico State information on “Exploring Majors” feature of ASSIST (http://www.assist.org)

Articulation Agreements: 2017-2018 and 2018-2019

Currently, ASSIST.org is undergoing a major upgrade. As a result of this upgrade, the most recent articulation agreements available are the 2016-2017 agreements. For 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 articulation information, please see below.

2017-2018

  • No course-to-course articulations were removed for the 2017-2018 academic year. To view course-to-course articulations for 2017-2018, reference the 2016-2017 Department Articulation Agreements at ASSIST.org (select by department). 
  • New course-to-course articulations for 2017-2018 can be found on the New Articulations 2017-2018 spreadsheet. Download the Excel spreadsheet to enable filtering and searching functions.
  • Do not reference the 2016-2017 Major Articulation Agreements for 2017-2018 articulation information by major. Major requirements may have changed. See the 2017-2018 CSU, Chico University Catalog for 2017-2018 major requirements. Then reference the 2016-2017 Department Articulation Agreements to see if the courses listed within the 2017-2018 major requirements have course-to-course articulations. 

2018-2019

  • See the Deleted Articulations 2018-2019 spreadsheet for a list of articulations removed effective Fall 2018. For course-to-course articulation information for courses not on this list, reference the 2016-2017 Department Articulation Agreements at ASSIST.org (select by department).
  • New course-to-course articulations for 2018-2019 can be found on the New Articulations 2018-2019 spreadsheet. Download the Excel spreadsheet to enable filtering and searching functions.
  • Do not reference the 2016-2017 Major Articulation Agreements for 2018-2019 articulation information by major. Major requirements may have changed.
