Uninstalling the Clean Access Agent

Date: 05-21-2009

Dear Residents,

Because you will no longer be using ResNet, you will no longer need the Cisco Clean Access Agent and may wish to uninstall the program from your computer.

Many of you are using Windows and have installed the Cisco Clean Access Agent in order to access ResNet. Once you have moved out of the residence halls you will likely use your computer to access the Internet from another network such as a home broadband connection.

To uninstall the Clean Access Agent open the Start Menu, browse to All Programs, Cisco Systems, Cisco Clean Access, and click on "Uninstall Clean Access Agent." Click "Yes" on the dialog box that will pop up and after a few moments the Clean Access Agent will be removed from your system.

Follow this link for step-by-step instructions with pictures.

Remember to uninstall the agent only after you no longer need to access ResNet, if you uninstall the program before then and try to access ResNet, you will be prompted to download and reinstall the program.

We hope you have a great summer vacation and thank you for using ResNet!
