Subject: Project Director Advisory-Foundation Decrease in private car mileage rate 1/1/2009
Effective January 1, 2009

The foundation reimbursement rate for private car mileage will be decreased. For foundation travel on or after January 1, 2009 you may claim up to .55 cents per mile (2009 IRS Federal Standard Mileage Rate).
For individuals traveling under contracts requiring the use of DPA rates the same rate should apply. In the past DPA has stated they will follow IRS mileage rates. We will confirm the DPA rate in January 2009 and notify you if the DPA rate is different.
