Proposing and managing project budgets is a detailed process for project directors and staff. Based on more than 30 years of contracts and grants activity at Chico State, communication and attention to detail appear to be the key to budgeting success for project directors.
State, federal, and private foundation guidelines can vary a great deal, making compliance to the "rules and regulations" a challenge. RESP stands ready to help as budgets are prepared as part of a proposal. Once funded, the budget serves as the everyday financial structure of the project.
