Proposal Development

Searching for funding sources, proposal writing, budget preparation and overall submission of applications to meet funding sponsor requirements are support services offered by RESP to Chico State faculty and staff.

Creative responses to Request for Proposals, coupled with auditable budgets, are keys to success for this part of the grants/contracts process. When you have project ideas to explore or proposals to develop, contact RESP at 898-5700 to work with a development specialist.

Deadlines for Proposal Submission to RESP: A detailed budget and project narrative should be submitted to RESP no later than 10 working days prior to submission date. We cannot guarantee meeting sponsor deadlines when proposals are received with less than 10 days lead time.
