In order to be considered for positions with The CSU, Chico Research Foundation, it is necessary to apply for a specific position during a stated recruitment period and follow the stated procedures and closing dates. Each announcement lists the required application materials. The Foundation does not maintain mailing lists for job announcements. A separate application is required for each posted position.

Before submitting your application, please review it carefully for accuracy and completeness. Attention to detail is important. Poor grammar, spelling errors, and/or incomplete fields may adversely affect consideration of your application for employment. Incomplete application packets will not be considered.

After the closing date, all complete and qualified applications are forwarded to the search committee for further consideration.  In most cases, this process takes approximately two to three weeks to complete. Applicants determined to be most qualified for the position will be contacted for an interview. Before making a formal job offer, reference checks, background investigation and fingerprinting may be conducted. The search committee makes a recommendation to the hiring authority who then forwards the decision to Human Resources.
