Tom Johnson Resource Library

The RISE Library is now located in Aymer J. Hamilton 124, which is behind the Bidwell Mansion and next to Modoc Hall. Featured in the library are 3,000 children's literature books, including versions of the Cinderella story in Korean, African, Cambodian, Egyptian, and Native American settings. Also on display are fascinating artifacts, maps, games, and instruments—from Hmong story cloths to Indonesian masks and Ethiopian drums. All are available for checkout by teachers for use in their classrooms. Library hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. For a special appointment, please call 530-898-6407.
