SAGE Bank

A Microenterprise Lending Institution for Young Business Entrepreneurs

Starting this year, for all non-USA SAGE teams, SAGE HQ will provide SAGE business loans of up to $250 to SAGE teams to help with their best business startup; we will also provide $100 loans to SAGE solo entrepreneurship ventures (consisting of one or two people).

Please note that the loan application must be accompanied by a business plan according to the template provided.

The microenterprise bank concept is powerful. The founder of the Grameen Bank, Muhammad Yunus, won a Nobel Peace Prize in October 2006 for his work in providing disenfranchised women with small loans. SAGE wants to follow in Dr. Yunus’s footsteps by providing similar loans to SAGE teams and individual SAGE students.
