The BA in Natural Sciences in the Department of Science Education permits individuals to enter the teacher credential program in the School of Education and ultimately to qualify for a single subject credential in foundational level general science (FLGS).  This credential is primarily for the middle school level or for a K-12 non-departmentalized integrated science program. The courses in this major will give you a strong interdisciplinary science background wrapped in the teaching strategies known to be most effective in science classrooms.
