To Receive Your Aid by Check

Checks are generally mailed to the student's local/mailing address that is listed in your personal portal account on the Chico State Connection. If there is no local/mailing address, they are mailed to the student's permanent address.  Confirm that the University has your current local/mailing and permanent addresses by using your personal portal account on the Chico State Connection.

Checks mailed to outdated addresses are often lost. A student must wait 15 mailing days before submitting paper work to re-issue a lost check. Authorizing EFT is the easiest way to ensure timely receipt of your refund.
