Payment Methods
Pay-By-Mail
You may pay all registration, course fees, and on-campus housing installments by mail. Please send payments to the following address:

Make your check or money order payable to CSU, Chico. To ensure credit to the proper account, include the following information on your check or money order:
- Print your full legal name
- Chico State student ID number
- Description of what you are paying
Do not mail cash.
Payments in amounts greater than actual or anticipated university charges for the semester cannot be processed and will be returned.
Pay In Person
You may also pay in person with a check, cash or Wildcat Card at Student Financial Services, Student Services Center (SSC) Room 230, during normal business hours.
Payments in amounts greater than actual or anticipated university charges for the semester cannot be processed.
When using the Wildcat Card, there is a $200 maximum transaction amount.
Electronic Check Payments
Payments for registration, tuition, and on-campus housing charges can also be made via electronic check. There is no fee for using this service.

Credit Card Payments
Payments are accepted for registration, tuition, and on-campus housing charges by MasterCard, American Express, or Discover using CASHNet SMARTPAY or by touch-tone phone at 1-866-485-1460. Sorry, VISA cards are not accepted.
The service fee for use of CASHNet SMARTPAY is 2.9 percent of the transaction amount rounded up to the next multiple of 25 cents.

Wire Transfer
Wire transfers should be used only for extraordinary circumstances such as international funds transfer. Do not use within the U.S. as a method of payment unless specifically requested to do so by Student Financial Services.
To ensure credit to the proper account, the STUDENT'S NAME AND ID NUMBER MUST BE INCLUDED in your wire transfer instructions.
