Payment Methods

Pay-By-Mail: 

You may pay all registration, course fees, and on-campus housing installments by mail. Please send payments to the following address:

Make your check or money order payable to CSU, Chico. To ensure credit to the proper account, include the following information on your check or money order:

Do not mail cash.
 

Pay In Person:      

You may also pay in person by check, cash or Wildcat Card at Student Financial Services (SFIN)-Cashiering, KNDL 212, during normal business hours, or use the drop box adjacent to the SFIN-Cashiering Office.

When using the Wildcat Card there is a $200.00 maximum transaction amount.

Electronic Check Payments:  

Payments for registration, tuition and on-campus housing charges can also be made via electronic check.  This service can be accessed through the following link on this site, Electronic Check Payments. There is no fee for using this service.

Credit Card Payments:

Payments are accepted for registration, tuition, and on-campus housing charges by MasterCard, American Express or Discover using CASHNet SMARTPAY™ at https://commerce.cashnet.com/chicopay or by touch-tone phone at 1-866-485-1460.  Effective August 1, 2003, we will no longer accept VISA cards.

The service fee for use of CASHNet SMARTPAY™ is 2.9% of the transaction amount rounded up to the next multiple of $0.25.

 
Wire Transfer:

Wire transfers should be used only for extraordinary circumstances such as international funds transfer. Do not use within the U.S. as a method of payment unless specifically requested to do so by Student Financial Services.

To ensure credit to the proper account, the STUDENT'S NAME AND ID NUMBER MUST BE INCLUDED in your wire transfer instructions.

**When making a wire transfer of fees, please contact our office via phone (530) 898-5936 or email cash@csuchico.edu with name, student ID number, amount, date of wire, and country where wire was initiated.**
