TB Testing

TB tests are done Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on a walk-in basis only. We do not make appointments for TB tests. We can do TB tests on most Fridays; however, if the Friday is before a holiday weekend, we will not do the TB test on Friday. You are required to return for a reading 48 to 72 hours after the TB test is given. If you fail to return, you will be charged $10 for an additional test.

The hours for TB tests are:

Monday, Tuesday, and Friday 8-11 a.m.

Wednesdays, 9:15-11 a.m.

This information applies to academic year only. During the summer we will only be able to do TB tests on Mondays and Tuesdays, (in the summer an additional visit fee applies).

ATTENTION: Student Health Services WILL NOT be providing TB tests on Friday, September 20, 2013, due to a shortage of staff.

Vaccination

Flu Vaccination

Each year the Student Health Service offers free flu shots to students. Clinics are held twice a week beginning the end of October for four weeks. After that, flu shots are given daily in the Walk-in Clinic.

Although Student Health Services provides flu shots to students, students are encouraged to attend a clinic (dates and times listed below) for their vaccine and to not come into SHS for it.

The following are dates and times for on campus flu clinics.

Flu vaccines are free for all registered students and are $15 for faculty and staff.
