We are a Professional Agriculture Sorority.

We were chartered at CSU, Chico on December 5, 1998.

Alpha Iota is in the Western Region of Sigma Alpha chapters.

Objective

The objective of this sorority shall be to promote its members in all facets of agriculture and to strengthen the bonds of friendship among them.  It is the purpose of the members to strive for achievement in scholarship, leadership, and service, and to further the development of excellence in women pursuing careers in agriculture.

Sigma Alpha Facts

The mascot is the baby bull.

The sorority flower is the yellow chrysanthemum. 

The Sigma Alpha jewel is the emerald. 

The official colors of Sigma Alpha are emerald and maize.
