The purpose of the Skeptics Club is to:
Question all claims including ones that are generally accepted as true.
Fulfill the process of inquiry by suspending judgement on, and by the outright doubting of assertations made on campus
and in the community
Find and conspicuously identify any and all logical fallacies perpetrated upon the campus and the community.
Enrich Chico State campus life by sponsoring educational events and fostering student dialogue on matters of faith,
science and reason
Establish a positive social environment for Chico State students who are rationalists, non-theists, humanists or
skeptics
Engage Chico State students in issues of national and international import surrounding freedom of conscience and
secular education
