Timeline for 2018–19 Award Year
Oct 2, 2018CFAC sends VPSA, deans, and admins the required Student Learning Fee (SLF) committee membership structure. Provost office sends out a call to the campus for SLF committee membership nominations via Campus/Student Announcements and Orion advertisement.
Oct 5, 2018Budget Office provides estimates for 2019-20 funds. VPSA/colleges are notified of their allocations.
Oct 12, 2018Committee membership nomination forms are due to the VPSA/deans’ offices by 5:00 pm. VPSA/Colleges begin membership selection process.
Oct 18, 2018VPSA/colleges must inform CFAC as to the process they’ve chosen for determining allocations.
Oct 19, 2018CFAC reviews and approves VPSA/college processes and rubric for the call for proposals.
Oct 22, 2018Provost office sends a University-wide request for CFAC proposals via the Campus/Student Announcements and Orion advertisement.
Oct 26, 2018VPSA/college AA/S’s enter committee members into the online SLF web application located here: https://slf.csuchico.edu
Nov 2, 2018CFAC approves the committee structures.
Dec 13, 2018Deadline for submission of CFAC proposals is 5 p.m.
March 2019Deadline for VPSA/colleges to submit expenditure plans to CFAC.CFAC reviews VPSA/college expenditure plans to ensure they comply with SLF guidelines.
April 2019CFAC presents final approved list of VPSA, college, and CFAC awards to the Provost and announces to the campus.
May 2019Individual assessment reports are due for the 2018-19 funded proposals.
June 2019CFAC provides assessment reports to VPSA/deans for 2018-19 proposals.
July 2019Funds for awarded projects for 2019-20 are transferred to department accounts.VPSA/deans review 2018-19 assessment information and produce summary report.
August 2019Provost reviews assessment summary reports to prepare recommendations to CFAC for following year allocations.
Sept 2019CFAC reviews assessment summary reports, and Provost recommendations, to prepare for the following-year allocations.
