Recognized Student Organizations
All official campus student organizations must be re-recognized every semester by the Student Life office. Instructions for re-recognition are available at the beginning of the semester, and will always include a mandatory "president's only" workshop. New clubs should check out the link for "Starting a New Club" for information on recognition. Typically, campus features over 240 active, recognized student organizations each semester.
Find Currently Recognized Clubs
All currently recognized clubs are now viewable on Org Sync, the campus organization software that allows online recognition, communication and member recruitment for clubs. To find a club's public profile on Org Sync, follow the steps below:
1) Log into Org Sync at https://orgsync.com/login/chico-state-university using your portal ID, or for non-campus members, an ID you create in Org Sync. You should see the name of the university in the top left corner on a red colored menu bar.
2) Click on the horizontal green bar on the left side of the page that says “Browse Organizations”.
3) Scroll through or search by key word to find the organization you are looking for and click on their icon image.
4) Underneath the organization name, look for and click on “Profile” tab to view all public information.Still got questions? We’ve got answers! Contact the friendly Student Life Parapros at (530)898-5396!
