Professor Ric Newton

Rick Newton

Ric Newton graduated from CSU, Chico with a bachelor's degree in sociology and a master's degree in social science. His full-time professional career has been in the field of funeral service and bereavement care where he has done research in grief and loss. He has taught part-time at Chico State since 1998, teaching Sociology of Human Stress, Sociology of Sexuality, Principles of Sociology, and Social Dynamics of Grief and Loss.
