
RESUME, COVER LETTER, ETC...
Resume:
Your resume should be clear and easy to read.
Your resume should be focused on the position that you are applying for.
It should be no longer than one page, and error free.
Cover Letter:
Your cover letter should focus on the specific skills and abilities that will apply to
the desired position.
Do not repeat in your cover letter what you already stated in your resume.
Make sure that it is addressed to the proper department and/or individual that is
responsible for the hiring.
Etc:
Make sure that you have prepared a reference list if one becomes necessary for the
interview.
Prepare a professional looking folder that will include copies of both your cover letter
and resume, along with additional information such as references, transcripts, and
research.
