Steven Koch, PhD
Dr. Koch teaches candidates in the Concurrent, Education Specialist, Intern and Rural Teacher Residency Programs. He supervises education specialist candidates. He received his PhD in clinical psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology. Prior to becoming a full-time faculty member at CSU, Chico, he worked for over 25 years as a psychologist, assistant principal, and co-teacher/counselor in Butte County Behavioral Health, Butte County Office of Education, and Chico Unified School District.
His areas of teaching include behavior management and special education law and collaboration. His research and writing focuses upon the use of webcam technology to remotely supervise teacher candidates and the application of Cognitive-Behavior Therapy to classroom management.
