MA in Education

School of Education MA programs provide advanced study for persons who wish to enhance their knowledge base and professional background in educational fields. The MA in Education is geared for credentialed or licensed K-12 teachers. All courses are offered at times convenient for in-service teachers.

MA Choices

To be accepted, you must be in a good academic standing at the last institution attended, and hold an acceptable baccalaureate degree. You must have a 3.0 GPA in the last 30 semester units attempted and a 2.75 in the last 60 semester units attempted. The California State University system requires graduate students to develop writing proficiency; as a condition of your acceptance, and in order for us to assist you in further development in writing, we also request an original sample of your writing called 'The Initial Writing Assessment.'

Applications to start in the fall semester are generally due by March 1 of the previous spring, and to start in the spring semester, September 15. To Apply:
