Official Transcript Requests

Official Transcripts May 22 – June 18

Students enrolled in spring 2012:

While grades are being processed, official transcripts will be unavailable for students enrolled in spring 2012.  Transcript processing will resume Monday, June 18, 2012 and will include spring 2012 grades. 

  • Tuesday, May 22 is the last day to request official transcripts for regular processing to be ready by Thursday, May 31 for mail or for pickup after 2 p.m.
  • Tuesday, May 29 is the last day to request official transcripts for rush processing to be ready by Thursday, May 31 for mail or for pickup after 2 p.m.
  • Thursday, May 31 – Thursday, June 14:  No official transcripts processed.  All requests received during this time will be processed beginning Monday, June 18. Access to unofficial transcripts is available in the Student Center through the Portal.
  • Monday, June 18:  Processing of official transcripts for students enrolled in spring 2012 will resume.  

 

Students not enrolled in spring 2012:

Transcript Ordering is now online!

We are pleased to announce the availability of online ordering for Official Transcripts, allowing students and alumni to order transcripts via the web at any time.  You will receive real-time order updates by email or text message and may track your order online.  CSU, Chico's online ordering process is provided through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), a non-profit organization serving the higher education community.  More information on NSC is available at www.studentclearinghouse.org.

Locate the Order Official Transcripts on the Records, Registration & Finance tab in the Portal

If you do not have a Portal account*

Order directly with National Student Clearinghouse

If you wish to pay with check or money order

Mail a completed Official Transcript Request Form to CSU, Chico.  This completed form may also be delivered to our office: SSC 110.

*Portal accounts are only available for students enrolled after Summer 2004


Closure days and weekends are not included in transcript processing business days.  Our office will be closed on the following days:
  • Monday, May 28, 2012 (Memorial Day)
  • Friday, June 8 (Campus Closed)
  • Friday, June 15 (Campus Closed)
  • Wednesday, July 4, 2012 (Independence Day)

Unofficial Transcript Requests

Unofficial Transcript Requests are only available in the lobby of the Office of the Registrar and must be picked up in person.  Normal processing time is two working days, but is subject to change. There is a $2.00 fee for each document.  A picture I.D. is required when picking up transcripts. Unofficial transcripts not picked up within 30 days from the date of scheduled pickup will be destroyed. No refund will be provided.

If you attended CSU, Chico in any term after Summer 2004, you may use the Portal to retrieve academic information.
