Transcript Ordering – Frequently Asked Questions

Transcript processing May 24 – June 17

While spring semester grades are being processed, official transcripts will be unavailable for students enrolled in spring 2013.  Transcript processing will resume Monday, June 17, 2013.  Current and recent students may access unofficial transcripts through the Portal.

 Enrolled in spring 2013 and need a transcript? 

Order by the deadlines below and your transcript will be ready no later than 2 PM on Friday, May 31.  Grades for spring 2013 will not be included.

  • Friday, May 24 for Regular Processing.  All orders after this date must be Rush Processing to be ready by May 31st. 
  • Tuesday, May 28 for Rush Processing.
  • May 31 through June 13: No official transcripts will be processed.  Place your order online and your request will be processed beginning Monday, June 17.  Access to unofficial transcripts is available in the Portal.  

 Not enrolled in spring 2013?  Order online and your order will be processed according to your selections.

    CSU, Chico's online ordering process is provided through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), a non-profit organization serving the higher education community.  More information on NSC is available at www.studentclearinghouse.org.

    If you wish to pay with check or money order

    Mail a completed Official Transcript Request Form to CSU, Chico.  This completed form may also be delivered to our office: SSC 110.

    *Portal accounts are only available for students enrolled after Summer 2004
    Closure days and weekends are not included in transcript processing business days.  Our office is closed on:
    • Monday, May 27 (Memorial Day)
    • Friday, June 7 (Campus Closed)
    • Friday, June 14 (Campus Closed)

    Unofficial Transcript Requests

    If you attended CSU, Chico in any term after Summer 2004, you may use the Portal to retrieve academic information.

    Unofficial Transcript Requests are also available in the lobby of the Office of the Registrar as an on-campus service. 

    • A picture I.D. is required and requests must be ordered and picked up in person. 
    • Typically requests can be processed while you wait. 
    • There is a $2.00 fee for each transcript.
    • Unofficial transcripts not picked up within 30 days from the date of scheduled pickup will be destroyed.  No refund will be provided. 

    CSU, Chico Faculty Advisors can request an advisor copy of a student's CSU, Chico unofficial transcript via email: registrar@csuchico.edu
