If you have a Portal account*

Locate the Order Official Transcripts on the Records, Registration & Finance tab in the Portal

Order online to receive real-time order updates by email or text message.

CSU, Chico's online ordering process is provided through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC), a non-profit organization serving the higher education community.  More information on NSC is available at www.studentclearinghouse.org.

If you do not have a Portal account*

If you wish to pay with check or money order

Mail a completed Official Transcript Request Form to CSU, Chico.  This completed form may also be delivered to our office: SSC 110.

*Portal accounts are only available for students enrolled after Summer 2004

Closure days and weekends are not included in transcript processing business days.  Review Contact Us for our office hours and Dates and Deadlines for more information about closure days.

Unofficial Transcript Requests

If you attended CSU, Chico in any term after Summer 2004, you may use the Portal to retrieve academic information.  Unofficial Transcript Requests are also available in the lobby of the Office of the Registrar as an on-campus service. 

  • A picture I.D. is required and requests must be ordered and picked up in person.  
  • Typically requests can be processed while you wait. 
  • There is a $2.00 fee for each transcript. 
  • Unofficial transcripts not picked up within 30 days from the date of scheduled pickup will be destroyed.  No refund will be provided. 

CSU, Chico Faculty Advisors can request an advisor copy of a student's CSU, Chico unofficial transcript via email: registrar@csuchico.edu
