Waitlisting FAQ

Q: What are my chances of getting enrolled from a waitlist?

A: If a seat becomes available, the student with the lowest wait list position number will be enrolled. You may be skipped over if you:

  • have a time conflict
  • are enrolled in another section of the same class
  • have exceeded the maximum units allowed

Maximum units for the term are 16 unless you are a senior or a postbaccalaureate student, who are allowed 17 units during enrollment appointments and 21 units during add/drop.  You will not be reconsidered until another seat becomes available in the class.
