What We Can Offer You

Enchancing Students' Success

Academic/Personal Advising

With the assistance of the program staff, students will develop short-term and long-term goals uniquely tailored to address individual needs. We also provide assistance with registering for classes. In addition, the program staff is also a friendly shoulder to lean on should one of life's many obstacles get in the way of your academic success.

Cultural Enrichment

We offer participants the opportunity to attend numerous events on and off campus that stimulate thought and promote cultural appreciation. Some of the events include attending shows performed on campus at the Laxson Auditorium and outdoor activities with Adventure Outing and attending a Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, Oregon.

Leadership Development

Our friendly program staff keep students aware of opportunities to develop their organizational and leadership skills. Participants may assume leadership roles by participating in the SSS Leadership Council which helps organize social and educational events where participants can interact and develop friendships.
