Position Availability Student Computing accepts applications throughout the year, regardless of whether we are currently hiring or not. Applicants will be notified by email when their application is received. If Student Computing wants to interview an applicant, they will be notified by email or by phone. We employ students as Help Desk Assistants, Remote Access Technicians, ResNet Computer Consultants, and Assistive Technology Center Technicians. Work Study Preference While it is not a requirement for employment, students with available Work Study funds are currently given priority for interviews and employment. If hiring needs cannot be fulfilled from the pool of applicants with Work Study, non-Work Study applicants will be considered in the order in which their applications were receieved. Application Process In order to be considered for a position with Student Computing or ResNet, you must first go through the application process. The following steps must be completed:
Work Hours Work hours are arranged to be compatible with each student's class schedule during the semester and will not exceed 20 hours per week (minimum 10 hours per week) during the semester. |
