E-mail client configuration

If you have another email account that you prefer to use instead of WildcatMail, you can have your WildcatMail messages forwarded to that account. This assumes you have already intialized your WildcatMail account and already have another email account that you want to forward messages to.

You can also use this tool to undo any forwarding you may have already set.

Spam and Email Forwarding

Beginning on January 29, 2007, messages detected as spam will not be forwarded to your preferred email account. They will be saved in a special folder labeled “SPAM” in your WildcatMail account, which you may access by “Open WildcatMail” from the Student Email channel in the Portal. Messages greater than 30 days old are automatically deleted from the SPAM folder in your WildcatMail account.

Viewing and Setting Your WildcatMail Forwarding

To set your WildcatMail forwarding, login to the Portal and follow the forwarding instructions inside the Student Email channel.

Any changes to your mail forwarding options will take 24-48 hours to take effect.
