The Study Abroad Office of CSU, Chico is here to assist students, faculty and staff to expand their knowledge of other cultures as well as their own while traveling the world and diversifying their educational environment.  Over 300 Chico State students study abroad in thirty-two countries around the world each year, representing all majors of study.  

CSU, Chico Study Abroad has consistently been ranked third in the nation for the number of students sent abroad for a full academic year or longer, as compared with other masters-granting institutions.  As our Alumni will confirm, studying abroad is one of the most rewarding academic experiences available to students during their undergraduate and graduate careers. We pride ourselves on our customer service and make it our mission to make this opportunity available to any and all students wanting to partake in this life-altering journey.   

Between year-long, semester, winter intersession, and summer programs available where students can take courses toward their major, minor, GE & upper division theme requirements, there is definitely something (and somewhere) for everyone.
