Camp Adventure
Camp Adventure is a service learning program with training sites at 11 different locations throughout the U.S. It is a great opportunity to live and work abroad at a US military base or US embassy. We offer day camp and aquatics services for children from infant to 5 (child development), 6 to 12 (camp counselors and aquatics staff), 13-18 (teen and adventure camps). Most of the programs operate during the summer months (usually 10-12 weeks long); however, we do have some internships during the academic year. The internships are semester long and work with the child development programs (infant to 5). All programs provide airfare, housing and a living stipend.
We recruit students during the Fall semester for work during the summer months, in early Fall for the spring semester and in early spring for the fall semester. All majors are welcome; however, prior experience working with youth in a group setting is required.
